Hi, I’m Kelly—a wife, mom of two, and the founder of Show-Me Scoopers. Starting this business was more than a career move—it was a turning point.
In 2024, I was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and for a time, I was completely sidelined by illness. But recovery brought more than just healing. It gave me a new purpose. I wanted to show my family—and especially my children—that we can overcome hard things and come back stronger.
That’s how Show-Me Scoopers began. It’s more than just a pet waste removal service. It’s a way to rebuild, to serve our community, and to build something meaningful as a family. I love helping dog owners enjoy their yards again, and I take pride in making our customers’ lives just a little easier (and a lot cleaner!).

Matt is the muscle behind the mission—and Kelly’s husband almost 18 years. After seeing what a raging success Show-Me Scoopers was becoming (and maybe watching Kelly have a little too much fun with it), he decided to join the family business full-time.
With years of experience in customer service and logistics, Matt brings reliability, hard work, and just the right amount of dad humor to every yard he visits. He's the one showing up in uniform, sending those gate-locked photos, and making sure every visit meets the Show-Me Scoopers standard.
When he's not scooping, Matt’s usually spending time with the kids, helping grow the business behind the scenes, or talking to your dog like it's part of the family—because that’s how we see our customers: like family.
Charlie is our Great Pyrenees and the unofficial boss of Show-Me Scoopers (just ask him).
He doesn't scoop, but he trains the humans by laying it down so we know where to pick it up—a true visionary in his field.
When he’s not demonstrating technique, Charlie is hard at work barking at literally everything to keep the team safe: squirrels, leaves, suspicious breezes—you name it.
